In Edo era, there was the residence of Settsu Matsudaira. It had a waterfall in its garden. The garden was so beautiful that it was called "Edo's Hakone". Towards the middle of Shouwa Era, it developed as a flower town. Even today, there are many nostalgic restaurants and bar standing side by side.
