Omokagebashi Bridge

Bridge spanning the north side, the Kanda River of Ryocho-in is called Omokagebashi Bridge. The neighborhood whole area leaves some legends for a long time. ◎When tadendo* came to this neighborhood for falconry in the village legend civilization year (1469-86) of Yamabuki, we were caught in the immediate rain and were going to borrow mino in farmhouse nearby. In do* ashamed of oneself not having meaning of a poem, it is said that we worked hard at way of 31-syllable Japanese poem afterwards. This daughter says rouge palette, and there is monument named the grave in Daishoin of Shinjuku 6 in ward. ◎It is legend of musumeokohime of samurai called wadenutsubofu which came to this ground for the Omokagebashi Bridge legend age of civil strife. I was kidnapped by samurai who declined marriage, and I was helped in sugisansanrohidarieimonfufu when I lost mind, and, in okohime which married into before long neighboring shokawahidarieimon, husband was killed by friend of husband, and I left house, and harm copied our body out of misfortune to have in own body in succession although we took into water in riverside of the Kanda River and we threw the body to river while yearning for dead husband and were suddenly in husband.
