Kinokuniya Hall

There is appearance of popular comic story teller, too!

In the fourth-floor hall of Kinokuniya Book Store Shinjuku Main Store building, we start Kinokuniya variety hall in the opening those days of 1964 (Showa 39). Sanpei Hayashiya acted as the first chicken. It is held once a month while centering on classical storytelling from the tenth. On March 15, this year, we reach the 639th. The second, young person, the nucleus of qualification given to comic storyteller and five expert comic story tellers appear and can excite venue.

Kagurazaka of early summer rises by laughter

The tenth
Kagurazaka rakugo Festival

Hold rakugo festival in Kagurazaka which was accumulation place of general public entertainment including variety hall and variety theater from the times of Meiji, the Taisho era; and is the tenth year this year. Influential figure of rakugo world flocks from seasonal comic storyteller.
