YAYOI KUSAMA MUSEUM

Feel breath of vivid paintbrush: Art museum to display opens work of Yayoi Kusama of the vanguard artist on behalf of Japan and valuable material concerned. We perform exhibition of work of Kusama twice a year, and lectures are going to open, too. Through display, we aim at introducing message of world peace and the humanity that Kusama appealed for repeatedly into the world widely.

: Seiji Togo Memorial Sompo Japan Museum of Art

That "sunflower" here: Mainly on about 230 points including oil painting of deep Seiji Togou of connection, it stores work of other writers. In the last section in exhibition room, permanent exhibition shows Gogh, Gauguin, three points of Cezanne.

Art museum of Japanese painting about nature: Taking the opportunity of international flower of Osaka of 1990 and green exhibition, we collect Japanese painting in the present age to feature the theme of flower and green, nature. We support activity of young artist and replace work by exhibition all-out.

Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery

We read with fresco and untie the Meiji era from the late Tokugawa period

We display events from the birth of the Emperor Meiji to demise with 80 pieces of frescos. We describe historic scene based on historical fact closely.

: Nakamuraya Salon Museum of art

We convey atmosphere of salon in now: We establish art museum with rebuilding of building of 2014. We display work of art only by Nakamuraya which many artists, cultured people swarmed from last years of Meiji era to the Taisho era, the early days of the Showa era.

The Soseki study Memorial is open!

As new culture spot in Shinjuku-ku, memorial hall of Soseki Natsume was opened on Sunday, September 24, 2017.

Public art which sculptor, kamademmegumimu produced in the image of "tool which recalled peace" was installed in Shinjuku center Building in July, 2017.

Saeki Yuzo Memorial Atelier

Painter, Yuzo Saeki is place of fictionization only in Japan based in. On site at the time, we reproduce atelier of the Taisho era period as memorial hall.

The Tsune Nakamura atelier Memorial

We restore atelier of Western picture painter, Tsune Nakamura who played an active part in the Taisho era using building materials at the time. We display easel or furniture which we used.

House where writer, Fumiko Hayashi known for "description of roam" "transience" lived in. We can feel living room and the study, living of Fumiko including kitchen.
