Plan exhibition "youth of bottom of ozawayuki "to rino palm" original picture exhibition siberia detention memory"

In memory museum (Peace Memorial Museum) of returnees, [plan exhibition "youth of bottom of ozawayuki "to rino palm" original picture exhibition siberia detention memory"] is held until from Saturday, January 21 to Sunday, April 20.

Though war terminated in 1945 (Showa 20), in the place of former Soviet Union including siberia and benumbing cold of Mongolia, it is said that forced detained person (siberia detained person) rises to about 600,000 after the war that was made to engage in severe forced labor in poor food and inferior living environment. About 60,000 people lost their life soon without returning to hometown.

There was one that Shoichi Ozawa who was father of Mr. comic artist, ozawayuki kept on enduring siberia detention. Detention experience of father whom he asked for school days receives shock when "heterogeneous than what kind of war-related record", and Mr. ketaozawa strongly thinks, "we want to do in comics". And we began writing of "to rino palm" later. Finished coterie "to rino palm" is receiving a prize with the 44th Japan Cartoonist Association grand prix later with book "street of trace" that carries out becoming, and was made from air raid experience of mother in the 16th Agency for Cultural Affairs media art festival comics section rookie of the year title in 2015 in 2012 (Heisei 24). We achieved dramatization in 2019 (Reiwa 1).

We display handwriting manuscript of coterie magazine "to rino palm" whom we spend time of two and a half years by this plan exhibition from 2008 (Heisei 20) and concluded and introduce detention life of uncertain despair, figure of people who were going to survive desperately in that.
